Terms and conditions NONONSENSE.gallery
The general terms and conditions below apply to all NONONSENSE.gallery offers and to every remote agreement between NONONSENSE.gallery and the customer. We advise you (described below as the customer) to read it and save it by saving or printing it, so that you can consult it later if you wish.

On the website of NONONSENSE.gallery online art is sold. It is an online gallery without physical exhibition space or storage space for art.
2. Changes to the general terms and conditions
NONONSENSE.gallery reserves the right in its sole discretion to change, extend or remove these General Conditions at any time and without further notice. When these conditions have been last updated, you will be listed at the top of this page.
3. Order artwork and accept the agreement
- The artworks are ordered exclusively by filling in the online order form on the website https://NONONSENSE.gallery.
- NONONSENSE.gallery is responsible for the processing of the assignment. After agreement of the dimensions of the artwork, your order will be accepted by NONONSENSE.gallery at the moment you receive an order confirmation by e-mail.
- All quoted prices are in Euro (€), excluding VAT and excluding any delivery costs and other taxes (outside the Netherlands).
- Then the invoice is sent by mail (after contact about the delivery if applicable).
4. The offer
- When we speak about artwork, work or product in these conditions, we mean a work of art that is offered for sale at www.NONONSENSE.gallery.
- We do our best to place all products truthfully and flawlessly on the website. With each work there is a photo and a description of the work, ie price, title, format, material, artist and possibly a year.
- However, we are not liable for errors in the text on the website or deviations in color. It is possible that colors on a screen are different than in real life.
- Not all works are framed, when it is framed this is mentioned.
- To guarantee exclusivity of the artwork, all works can be issued in a limited edition of 10 pieces (excluding Artist Proofs). The works are numbered and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
5. Payment
You will receive the invoice for payment from us by email. The delivery costs will also be specified. You must transfer this within 14 days after the invoice date to the account number stated on the invoice.
6. Delivery
NONONSENSE.gallery delivers free of charge within the Netherlands with the exception of the Wadden Islands up to size 90×60 above this size we use a transporter. These delivery costs will be charged to you. For sizes larger than 90×60, NONONSENSE.gallery makes a price request from a transporter. NONONSENSE.gallery informs you about the delivery costs and if you confirm the delivery costs by e-mail or by telephone, you have accepted the delivery costs.
7. Delivery time
- Delivery times can differ per ordered artwork, we are dependent on the printer. The indicated delivery time in the confirmation of the order is indicative and you can not derive any rights from any term specified. We do our utmost to meet this delivery time. Exceeding the date of delivery does not entitle you to compensation. NONONSENSE.gallery strives to contact you to inform you of any changes in delivery time.
- The artworks are manufactured and delivered in accordance with specifications agreed in advance, namely: size, and frame. The artworks are therefore not prefabricated and are made to order. You therefore do not have a right of withdrawal.
8. Warranty
- NONONSENSE.gallery guarantees that the works of art comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of soundness and / or usability and the legal provisions and / or government regulations existing on the date of the conclusion of the agreement .
- A guarantee provided by NONONSENSE.gallery does not affect the legal rights and claims that the customer already has under the agreement and can invoke.
- Any defects to the artwork or incorrectly delivered works of art must be reported to NONONSENSE.gallery by email within 14 calendar days by email. Go carefully with the artwork:
- Treat it as you would in a store / gallery
- Grab the work for it be careful and do not try to make fingerprints (especially on the front). When you put a picture, or framed work (temporarily) on the floor, do this carefully and put a clean blanket underneath so that it can not be damaged.
- Do not put the work in a place where the sun shines on it every day.
- Place it where there are large temperature changes, a good temperature is around 18 degrees.
- Do not place the work in a room that is too humid or on a damp wall.
- Never clean a work of art with a cleaning agent. Consult the gallery or another expert in this area
- Do not let children come to work
- Warranty does not apply if: The customer has repaired / worked on the delivered artworks. The delivered artwork is exposed to abnormal circumstances (too much sunlight, large temperature changes, water and the like) or careless handling or contrary to the instructions of the NONONSENSE.gallery with regard to careful handling of art.
- If NONONSENSE.gallery deems the complaint well-founded, the relevant products will be repaired, replaced or reimbursed after consultation with the customer. The maximum reimbursement is the price of the artwork paid by the client.
9. Complain
Do you have a complaint about the work you have purchased from NONONSENSE.gallery? Please inform us by email info@NONONSENSE.gallery. We will work with you to see if a suitable solution is possible.
10. Affectability
- In case of delivery, the risk (destruction, loss, damage to the artwork) for the forwarding at NONONSENSE.gallery.
- When the customer has received the work, the risk (destruction, loss, damage to the artwork) is transferred to the customer. This also applies to any return shipment if you wish to have the work returned via a delivery service.
11. Force majeure
- In the case of – what can reasonably be taken to mean force majeure, as a result of which NONONSENSE.gallery is unable to meet its obligation to the customer, this obligation will be suspended during the period that the force majeure situation lasts. If the force majeure situation has lasted for six months or longer, both parties have the right to dissolve the agreement without being entitled to compensation for damage, costs or interest.
- Force majeure falls in any case: war or similar circumstance, natural disaster, gallerious disease, shortage of carriers, fire, explosion, bad weather, lightning strike, flooding, boycott, strike, riot, occupation or blockade.
